Even if you normally use your own email client to read your mail, knowing how this works could come in very handy on the road or just borrowing someone's computer to check you mail.
First, point your browser to http://webmail.yourdomain.tld/
NOTE: you can also log secure https://webmail.yourdomain.tld/ [remember the s ]
This maybe necessary if using an AOL account or any account that changes your IP address during a log in. You will know as the system will not let you in and tell you that your IP address changed since the last log on. Logging on secure will let you in. Again, even if you don't own your own certificate just click ok, when asked if you trust the certificate owned by seacresthosting.net
There are good help menus in the web mail program and all your new mail should be in your inbox if that is not obvious.
One thing to note: Our web mail is IMAP, not POP3. So what does that mean?
Well if you create folders in your Web Mail account, unless you are also running IMAP with your client, you probably won't be able to get to any email you put in a folder!
Also, IMAP doesn't just delete a message. It marks it deleted, in this case with a line through it. To totally remove the message you must also click on the Purge deleted link.
Our web mail program is written by Horde and too much information can be found there:
